  • Where can I park?

    Metered parking is available and there are pay lots nearby.

    Free neighborhood parking can be found a few blocks away on the corner of 6th and Robinson.

    Free parking is located a couple of blocks away from our studio beginning at Pennsylvania or 3rd Avenue. Street parking is free on Sundays.

  • What happens if I miss class?

    No credits, refunds or make-ups will be issued in lieu of a missed class or cancellations.

    Please, no exceptions

    Kindly schedule your time accordingly.

    NOTE:

    Make-up classes MAY be scheduled at the discretion of the studio and are not guaranteed.

    If students miss class due to serious illness, please contact the studio.

  • What is your cancellations and Refund policy?

    A full refund will be issued to students if we are notified within 7 days before the start of the session. Please, no exceptions. Students may opt to receive a full studio credit in lieu of a refund.

  • What are the requirement for Open studio?

    REQUIRMENTS:

    must be an enrolled student with at least 200 hours under your belt done through San Diego Jewelry Academy or formally known as Whaley Studio.

    non enrolled students must advance experience and at least 300 hours done through San Diego Jewelry Academy or formally known as Whaley Studio.

    Must Stay the full 30 min.

  • What would the first class entail?

    New students or those with limited prior experience will learn the basics by fabricating a sterling silver ring of their own design. You will immerse yourself in the process of classic metalsmithing by learning to alloy metal, pour an ingot, use a rolling mill, form, solder and finishing a ring of your own design. After your ring project is complete you may work on projects of your choice as you build your skills.

  • How long are classes?

    Classes are 3 hours long.

    We meet once a week for a period of 7 weeks.
